The National Disaster Management Association Malaysia (NADIM Malaysia) participated in the Resilient Asia 2026 Forum, held on 26 April 2026.
The forum brought together representatives of non-governmental organisations and community leaders who are actively involved in strengthening community resilience and community-based disaster risk management.
The President of NADIM Malaysia, Tuan Roslan bin Ab Ghani, participated as one of the panellists during the forum. He shared NADIM Malaysia’s experience and initiatives in implementing Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) programmes.
Among the topics discussed were the development of community emergency plans, local risk mapping, and the importance of community participation in planning and implementing disaster risk reduction measures.
NADIM Malaysia’s participation in the forum also provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with other organisations involved in disaster management and community development.
